What patients is VR Medical suitable for?

The product is suitable for patients who need to improve gross motor skills, balance, fine motor skills, fitness or they need cognitive training.

Can patients feel nauseous during exercise?

No. We develop applications in a static environment designed and modeled by us in such a way that nausea (or so-called motion sickness) does not occur.

What applications will I have access to once the product is purchased?

In our package you will find more than 40 applications improving ranges, balance, fine motor skills, fitness and cognitive function.

What you should have in place before launching VR Medical?

  • Headset
  • Tablet/computer/phone to run the app
  • Internet connection
  • No streaming - glasses to Wi-Fi, tablet/computer/phone to internet.
  • With stream - goggles and tablet/computer/phone on the same Wifi to make the stream work
  • Disinfectants to clean the silicone cover of the glasses that is in contact with the face - wipes or spray + cloth

It is not possible to turn on the headset, what to do?

Check the battery charge, connect the headset to the charger for 10 minutes and try to turn the headset on again.

The headset and the tablet cannot be connected, what to do?

Check the headset wifi connection and restart both devices. Also check the hotspot and mobile connection.

I am logged out of the platform, where can I access my login information?

You can find the login information in the tablet box. In the case it is not there, please write to us at [email protected]

What to do if streaming does not work (projection to the tablet)?

Check wifi and hotspot/mobile data enabled (same wifi connection for tablet and headset).

What if hotspot/wifi does not work?

Restart both, the headset and the tablet. Then check that the mobile network and hotspot on the tablet are on. Then try to connect again.

The application is on in the tablet, but not in the headset?

Turn off and on the headset, turn off the application on the tablet, check the wifi connection in the headset and do the whole action again.

The headset is on, but it is not online on the platform, what to do?

Check the headset wifi connection and refresh the browser with the platform.

I have closed the application on the platform, but it is still running in the headset?

Restart the headset.

Ellements control does not work in my headset, what to do?

Turn off and on the application on the platform and start again. It is also important to check the lighting conditions. Too much daylight or too much darkness makes it difficult to load the controls. It is ideal to have indirect daylight or artificial light in a room with shadowed windows - in case there is direct sunlight from the windows.

What if the headset does not scan or render the hands?

Lock and unlock the headset. If the hands are still not being scanned, restart the headset. Cover the cameras on the sides of the headset for a few seconds and then put your hands back in front of the headset and wait for the hands to appear.

The scene in the headset flickers or a similar problem occurs.

This problem usually apears due to bad lighting - e.g. direct sunlight, excess light, excessive darkness or lack of light. Try to cover the windows and turn on the lights in the room. Rooms where light can be reflected (e.g. due to mirrors) could be also problematic.

What if the patient does not appear in the middle of the scene?

Turn on and off the application again. Before starting again, put the patient in the position in which he/she should exercise.

What if I can not see the patient's exercise on the tablet?

Refresh the browser (swipe your finger from top to bottom on the screen) or refresh the page using the "refresh" button in the browser.

What if the game elements are not able to control?

a) Instruct the patient to look around ot to take a step (if the game takes place standing); b) End the game, check the selected exercise position and the activated hotspot; c) Reset the connection between the headset and the tablet, check the battery status of the tablet and the headset.

Is it difficult to launch the application?

Before launching the application and during it, it is necessary for the user to sit/stand/lie down, according to the selected application. It is also important to have sufficient space around the user and a properly lit the room - ie. do not sit opposite a window / in direct sunlight, do not start the application with materials that reflect a lot of light (mirror).

What can happen to the user when using the headset?

Users may experience dizziness, nausea or headache. In case of these difficulties during use, immediately take the headset off with eyes closed and slowly open them in order to gain orientation.

What are the possible contraindications?

All contraindications listed below require an individual assessment by a doctor.

Possible contraindications can be: psychotic disorders and epilepsy, nausea, seizures, eye diseases (especially if the person suffers from strabismus or other abnormality of binocular vision), acute fatigue, overload of the organism, increased temperature, redness, sweating, pallor around the mouth, blue lips, feeling nausea and gasping for breath.
